munity is an app focused on activities and connections within your local community.
Don’t expect large groups or spammed distant, expensive events.
Engage in munity through your Pulses, Matches, Shots and –coming soon– Challenges.
Pulses
Pulses are activities and events that you and others can join.
Easily create a Pulse—a dynamic, flexible type of activity—and invite friends, family and loved ones. If you make your Pulse public, anyone close by can request to join in for a fun neighborhood gathering.
Set a location, date, and time for things like birthdays, parties, dinners, classes, and more. You’ll get a reminder before your Pulse starts so you never show up late. Go ahead—invite your friends and family to save the date.
Looking for something spontaneous? You can also create a Pulse that starts the moment you arrive at a location. Your friends will be notified that you’re at the gym, library, or grabbing a quick bite to eat—perfect for spontaneous meetups.
Want to give a heads-up first? Before heading out, mark yourself as on your way so others know to keep an eye out when you arrive.
New! Pulse Habits!
Pulse Habits are a new kind of Pulse that doesn’t need a specific location.
They encourage activities that can happen anywhere, anytime—like brainstorming at a coffee shop, meditating in the park, or studying at home. Set a duration and start a positive Habit. Your friends will be notified when you begin so they can join in and build a positive habit together.
Shots
Your Shots are photos or short videos captured when your Pulse is happening and you’re there. Take a single, authentic shot to share what’s happening—no filters. Just life, unedited.
Matches
Matches occur when someone nearby shares similar interests. You’ll see their profile and what they’re into, and if it feels right, you can accept. If you both say yes, start chatting to plan a meetup—like creating a Pulse to get together at a common location.

The dedicated team behind munity has grown frustrated for years with how current social media negatively affects people’s lives—including our friends, families, and loved ones. Too often, it promotes unrealistic standards, excessive or bad habits, and encourages addictive app behaviors.
munity takes a different path. It focuses only on activities and people within a limited distance from your location. Don’t expect content from across the world—unless someone’s actually there visiting your town.
