About this app

Fasting Timer keeps track of where you are in your fasting cycle, and how well you actually stick to it.

CHOOSE A FAST
Nine standard protocols are ready to go: 12:12, 14:10, 16:8, 18:6, 20:4 (Warrior), OMAD, 5:2, Eat-Stop-Eat and alternate day. Pick one and start.

OR BUILD YOUR OWN
Create a custom fast with as many stages as you like, each with its own name, length and type. Copy a standard fast and adjust it, or start from scratch.

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
A countdown widget in four sizes, from a slim 2x1 strip to a full card with your progress ring, what's next and the window it runs in. Choose whether the big number shows time remaining, time elapsed or your scheduled end time, and whether progress is drawn as a ring, a bar or plain text. A second widget shows your punctuality at a glance.

Tap the widget and it asks whether you are ready to start the next stage, naming it and telling you how far ahead or behind schedule you would be.

AN ALARM YOU WILL ACTUALLY HEAR
When a stage reaches its target, Fasting Timer can ring at alarm volume and keep ringing until you answer, not just chime once. Or pick a single chime, or silence. Snooze if you are not ready.

SEE HOW WELL YOU KEEP TO IT
Every stage change records how early or late you were. The stats screen charts each one against your schedule, tracks whether your drift is improving, and breaks it down by whether you are starting a fast or opening an eating window. On-time rate, current streak and best streak included.

EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Your fasts, your sessions and your statistics are stored on the device. Nothing about your fasting is uploaded.

Fasting Timer is a timer, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before changing how you eat.

What’s new

Garmin watch companion.

Fasting Timer now talks to a Connect IQ app on your Garmin watch. The current stage and countdown
appear on the watch glance, and you can confirm a stage change from your wrist — it is recorded in
your statistics exactly as if you had tapped the phone.

Your phone stays in charge of the fast. The watch only mirrors it, and keeps showing the right
countdown even when your phone is out of Bluetooth range.
