About this app

TripTotal keeps track of who paid what on a trip and works out who owes whom, so nobody has to do the maths at the end.

Add an expense in seconds. Type "pizza" or "taxi" and TripTotal picks the category for you, in English or Latvian, learning from what you entered before. Pay in any currency: the rate is filled in from the European Central Bank, or type your own.

Split it your way. Equal shares, by shares, by percent, by exact amounts, or keep the cost to yourself. Every split is exact to the cent.

See where the money went. Each trip shows its total, spending by category and by day, and every member's balance. Settle up with the fewest possible payments, and record the payments as you make them.

Invite people with a code or a QR code. Members don't need an account to be part of a trip; anyone who joins can add and edit expenses.

Works offline. Everything you enter is saved on your phone first and syncs when you're back online, so a mountain hut or a plane is no problem.

Look back on the year. See what you spent across all your trips, by month and by category, converted to your home currency.
