About this app
SmartLAB is an M.A.C service born in 2016 useful for healthcare facilities and general practitioners who want to constantly monitor patients of any age.
SmartLAB offers healthcare facilities:
• a 24-hour patient monitoring service,
• a data collection, where these are accessible according to the criteria of respect for privacy.
Monitoring with SmartLAB takes place through specific devices, in particular with a smartwatch, with which it is possible to collect, in real time, information relating to the health status of patients.
The electromedical data obtained are then transferred to a dashboard that can be customized according to the type of end user and can be consulted by the facility's doctors and health professionals. But also by the patients themselves and their relatives through a special App.
SmartLAB sensors monitor vital signs of a person's health such as:
• heart beats,
• body temperature,
• breathing,
• ability to detect falls and send warnings proactively,
• any other parameter deemed necessary to monitor.
With SmartLAB, moreover, it is possible to check, in real time, the exact indications on the patient's position within the structure. Thanks to geofencing, it is possible to verify the patient's presence within the limits of a limited perimeter, using wifi and Bluetooth beacon indoors, and GPS outdoors.
In this way, if the patient is located in a position outside the established one, he can be easily reached and helped.
Who can use SmartLAB?
SmartLAB can be used by all those who deem it necessary, therefore it can be requested by:
• health facilities,
• RSA,
General practitioners,
• any other structure that has the basic requirements for applying this model (hospice, public and private environments with children, etc.).
It should be emphasized that SmarLAB does not replace, in any way, a medical examination or high thickness electromedical equipment. SmartLAB is exclusively a monitoring tool to support the doctor or healthcare facility.
