I rented a car from May 24 to 26 at Nice airport, my flight was one hour late. Being on the plane, it was impossible for me to contact them to announce this delay. While the car was in the parking lot and I paid the parking surcharge due to my delay, they decided to add a €50 late fee to my rental. These charges are completely unjustified and arbitrary. The car being there my delay did not cause them any additional cost. This looks more like a scam here than a real rental service.

I had a disappointing experience with Liigu. They refused to accept a payment card that was different from the card used for the security deposit, unlike many other car rental companies. Their support team cited fraud prevention, but this was the first time I encountered such a policy. Despite explaining my situation, they charged a EUR 50 fee for late cancellation. Based on this, I find it hard to recommend Liigu as a reliable car rental service.

DO NOT RENT from Liigu!!! It is a total scam. It seems to be more economical BUT they will rip you off in every other aspect you can imagine: Once they rip you they will refer to their Terms of Service and Company Policy (my first time having to deal with such a thing in many years of traveling to different countries). They expect you to handle traffic fines yet they will charge you 45 euros for "administration fees" for EACH TICKET! I will not be the last victim but, Liigu PLEASE STOP this scam
