About this app

Today, over 2 billion people suffer from visual impairments due to the lack of access of affordable and accurate screening methods, as well as lack of awareness about the issue. OcularCheck lets you detect myopia and other visual impairments right from home so that you can seek professional care.

OcularCheck is the ONLY distance visual acuity exam app that is clinically validated by research, available cross-platform, and extremely accessible. It has been developed for use in underserved/rural areas of the world, including features such as: diagnostic accuracy, no internet requirements, auditory guides, extremely wide device compatibility, and multilingual optotypes, and more. These features allow OcularCheck to play a unique role in the international public health community.

The best vision acuity app that I've ever used! You can select your phone model(size) so it makes the result close to the one at doctor's office's chart(20/20). After getting cataract surgeries done, my vision has been changed. So now I can check my vision at home without going to see my eye doctor frequently. The results are quite close to the one that I got this week from my doctor'a office. Thank you for developing this app!

1st It detects your phone model but the test is still off screen. 2nd You need 2 people to take the test. 3rd my phone's screen is too small to complete the test at certain distances. Its best using a tablet or computer & steping back to take the whole test.
