About this app

Bead is a to-do list that never interrupts you. No notifications, nothing that rings, and no way to email you. You open it, and today is already there.
A reminder in Bead is a place you look, not an event that goes off.
ONE SCREEN
Bead opens straight to Today. Everything else sits below, quieter, and folds away.
Today: due today, in electric blue, always visible. On a clear day it tells you there is nothing scheduled, and to enjoy it.
Waiting: open, and dated before today. Muted amber, collapsed to one line that counts what is waiting and says it is still here when you are ready.
Soon: the next seven days, quieter, because they are not asking yet.
Later: further out, or with no date at all, folded away until you open it.
Nothing schedules those lanes. They are worked out from today's date as the screen draws, so at midnight an unfinished task moves down into Waiting.
DOING THINGS
Swipe right to finish. Swipe left for tomorrow: "Moved. It'll be there tomorrow." Undo waits a few seconds, and nothing here is one-way.
Or hold a finger on a row until a quiet green fill reaches the far edge. Both gestures work with a screen reader.
"Skip this one" is a first-class button, not something buried in a menu. It sets the next occurrence and says nothing else.
Add from a bar docked to the screen you are on. Type milk tomorrow and the date comes off the words.
A task can carry a time and Bead shows it quietly on the row. It does not ring. There is nothing in the app that can.
REPEATS THAT NEVER PILE UP
Every day, weekdays, every week, every few days, every fortnight, every few weeks, every month on a day you choose, or every year on a date from the calendar. The next one appears only when you finish or skip the current one, so a daily task left for three weeks is still one row, not twenty-one.
LISTS, AND WHAT YOU FINISHED
Two lists included, ten with Bead Pro, plus an All lists view showing the lot in the same lanes.
A Done view: everything finished in the last 90 days, one section per day. "Not done yet" puts a row back.
Delete a list and its tasks move to another. The confirmation says where, because nothing is lost.
A task can carry a note, and up to eight photos or documents you pick from your phone. Bead keeps a copy; the original stays put.
HOME SCREEN, AND TV
The Bead today widget puts up to five of today's tasks on your home screen, with a factual "n waiting" line and "All clear." when there is nothing.
Cast the board to a Chromecast or a Google TV on your own network and the day goes up on the wall in big type, in your phone's own accent colour. The TV only displays; the phone stays the only authority. Titles only, so notes and attachments are not sent to the TV.
LOOKS AND SOUND
One accent, Electric, on a near-black ground that never changes: the wallpaper does not get a vote here. One small sound when something is finished, or Silent.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads. No accounts. No subscriptions.
Your lists live on this phone and in your phone's own backup, so they reach your next phone without an account.
Bead works offline. It uses the network for the store's billing for the one-time purchase, and for casting to your own TV if you use it.
