Ratings and reviews

The UI and widgets are great, and the app works pretty well overall. It's also nice having multiple options to choose from for a weather data source. However, I find it difficult to find an accurate source in my area, particularly when it comes to rainfall. The radar also works fine; however, the graphics are typically not very smooth, which makes it difficult to see past and upcoming weather. This is especially noticeable and problematic when using mobile data instead of wifi.

Good looking, clean interface. I like the weather animation depending on what's happening outside. For example, if it rains I get raindrops on my screen. In my experience the weather has been pretty accurate (compared to a nearby weather station). Adds are there for the free version but are small like in other apps. One downside is that the radar is only available for the paid version. On the plus side there is a lifetime option on that paid version and not just a yearly subscription.

I really like this one. There are so many poor weather apps. My only suggestion would be to also show the hourly forecast on the home screen by default. Way too much blank space. The hourly forecast nudged up wouldn't crowd the main page. Also, the widgets with backgrounds could benefit from transparency options. Overall I enjoy the simplicity, the widgets are excellent, and I like the severe weather alerts option. This could eventually move me from Samsung default weather app!
