About this app

Sleepy Tesla Info uses the TeslaFi API to show vehicle information. By using TeslaFi API rather than the Tesla API, the application does not wake up the vehicle. This allows the vehicle to continue to sleep, conserving battery power. The application also allows vehicle control if TeslaFi account is configured appropriately. For home screen, use the Application Widget to know at a glance if vehicle is sleeping. Sleepy Tesla Info will honor TeslaFi unit settings (imperial/metric, Fahrenheit/Celsius). Change preference in your TeslaFi account settings.

Requires an active TeslaFi account with current token. Not affiliated with TeslaFi. If you are not a subscriber to TeslaFi, you can use the following referral code for a month of free service:

Help:
Once installed, login to TeslaFi and go to https://teslafi.com/api.php. Copy the "Current Token" displayed on the webpage. Then open SleepyTesla and go to settings and paste token into "TeslaFi API Token" field. Go back to main application view and swipe down to refresh.

Note:

TeslaFi polls at a rate of once per minute. When changes are made to car settings, the updated info may take a couple of minutes to update when refreshed and will display prior values until TeslaFi refreshes API. API calls are limited to a maximum of 3 calls per minute per IP address.
