Independent and unbiased search results
Mojeek is a crawler based search engine with its very own index of web pages, so we are not reliant on any other engine to produce our results. Mojeek doesn't have an agenda because we believe it’s a search engine’s job to provide you with relevant search results, not to force a point of view on you.

Search that doesn’t follow you around
Mojeek was the first search engine ever to state that it doesn't track its users, and we've been committed to privacy ever since. This means Mojeek does not possess any identifying information on you, such as IP addresses, search history or click behaviour. That's because we think it’s your right to search the web without someone following you around.

Search technology created from the ground up
When you do a search on Mojeek, the results shown have been generated by our own algorithm, from our own database of web pages, which was crawled and made searchable by our own technology.

Hosted in the UK’s Greenest Data Centre
As a search engine, our servers need to be connected 24/7 and use more power than most, so our responsibility to minimise our footprint on the environment is something we believe to be very important. This is a key reason why we chose Custodian to host and run our servers, as a winner of the 'Green Data Centre' accolade at the Datacentre Leaders Awards.

a good search engine when accessed through an independent browser. Not so easy to use when dowloaded as an app for the purpose of browsing privately and ad-free. It is ad-free - and very private (2 very good attributes 👍👍) however - it DOES use up my phone data without my knowledge or consent. i did try to turn it OFF but it turned itself back on as soon as i opened a different app.. that is worrying

I personally love the simplicity of this search engine, the very basic format & design, color-scheme, its quick and efficient search time displaying non-sponsored websites in order of relevancy, and it's from the U.K. so that's cool 🤘I don't want preferences and options, I am here for privacy and the fact that Mojeek possesses its very own index of web pages, therefore not relying on Google, Bing, etc,... Thanks for great heavy metal and Mojeek, from across the pond in rural Pennsylvania. 🤟

This looks more like an alpha build of an app. Why is this on the Google Play store? Its news feed is shoved down your throat and there are absolutely zero settings. Who is this app supposed to be for? Mojeek, please take this down or replace it. The desktop search engine is great, but I've no idea what the hell this is.
