About this app
MoTick Lock blocks the apps you choose and unlocks them when you exercise in front of the camera. Your screen time is no longer unlimited: it becomes something you earn by moving.
The apps you choose are locked. To open them, you start a session, and a session is paid for with minutes that can only be earned one way: repetition by repetition, in front of the camera.

HOW IT WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• You choose which apps to limit: social media, video, games, whatever.
• You do repetitions, and each one fills the jar a little. The camera counts them automatically.
With minutes in the jar, you open a session of 5 to 45 minutes; they are pre-loaded.
During the session, your apps open normally; when it ends, they lock.
• Four exercises available anytime: squats, push-ups, lunges, and jumping jacks. Each one costs a certain number of repetitions, and the price fluctuates with usage.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

• Three breaks per week: 30 minutes without a single repetition, for meetings, injuries, or 2 a.m. And five pushes: the same session with half the repetitions. Free and replenished on Mondays.
• Three effort calibrations: 12, 15, or 20 repetitions per session, changeable in Settings.
• An optional daily cap, from 15 minutes to 12 hours. It only subtracts, never gives anything away.
• Parental PIN control: Protects settings and app list.
• Daily progress: Reps completed and minutes earned.
• No ads, no accounts, and no servers. Works offline.

USE OF THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
MoTick Lock uses the Android AccessibilityService API for one purpose only: to identify which app has just moved to the foreground, so it can instantly display the lock screen when that app is one of those you've chosen to restrict and you don't have any other sessions open. It also allows you to close the floating player (picture-in-picture), which would otherwise continue playing behind the lock screen.
What this service DOES NOT do:
• It doesn't read your messages, passwords, or the content of the screens you're scrolling through. All it needs to know is which app is in front; in the floating player, it also locates the close button.
• It doesn't record keystrokes or what you type.
• It doesn't record, take screenshots, or listen to anything.
• It doesn't send anything outside the device: there are no servers or analytics.
This permission is optional. We explain its purpose before requesting it. You activate it yourself in your Android settings and can revoke it at any time from Settings > Accessibility. Without it, MoTick Lock continues to function and lock your apps: the lock screen only takes a few seconds longer to appear, and it can't close the floating video.

• Notifications and full-screen notification: for the lock alert and the foreground service running the session.
