MT Proxy is a fast MTProto proxy for Telegram that runs on your own phone. No server to rent, no account to make, no VPN to install — press one button and Telegram connects through it.
Most Telegram proxies route your traffic through a stranger's machine. This MTProto proxy does not. The proxy runs locally on your Android device, and the only thing it ever talks to is Telegram itself. Nothing is decrypted along the way: your messages stay protected by MTProto end to end, exactly as they are without a proxy.
SET UP TELEGRAM PROXY IN TWO TAPS
1. Press the power button to start the MTProto proxy.
2. Tap "Add to Telegram" — the tg://proxy link fills in the server, port and secret for you.
No configuration, no proxy list to hunt through, no subscription. To use the same proxy on a second device on your Wi-Fi, switch the listener to Local network and share the QR code.
WHEN THE DIRECT CONNECTION IS BLOCKED
The app tries several routes to Telegram and moves down the list by itself, so you do not have to change any proxy settings:
• IPv6 WebSocket straight to a Telegram datacenter
• IPv4 WebSocket, served from a pre-warmed connection so Telegram opens instantly
• Domain fronting, when the ordinary TLS handshake gets dropped
• Direct TCP to the datacenter
• Cloudflare relays as a last resort
Routes that stop working are remembered and skipped, so a blocked path does not slow down every new connection.
WHY A SERVERLESS PROXY IS DIFFERENT
• No third-party proxy server sees your Telegram traffic
• No proxy list, no expiring free proxy, no shared secret handed around
• Nothing to pay for and nothing to sign up for
• Your proxy secret is generated on your device and never leaves it
SEE EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING
• Live upload and download chart, sampled every second
• Which route carried each Telegram session, and how many used each one
• A full connection log you can filter by level and share when something needs diagnosing
• Session counts, pool hit rate and handshake errors
TUNE IT IF YOU WANT TO
• Telegram datacenter IP addresses, IPv4 or IPv6
• Listener port and whether other devices on your Wi-Fi may connect
• Number of pre-warmed connections and socket buffer sizes
• Cloudflare relay and Cloudflare Worker fallbacks
• Dark theme, light theme, and start on boot
LIGHT ON YOUR PHONE
Works on Android 5.0 Lollipop and newer. The download is around 3 MB and the proxy uses roughly 37 MB of memory while running, with almost no CPU when idle.
MT Proxy is an unofficial third-party app for Telegram. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Telegram Messenger.
Fast MTProto proxy for Telegram. Serverless — runs on your phone, not a VPN.
