E6B is an independent app. It is not affiliated with AFAC, SENEAM, or any other government entity, and does not provide any government services. It is a calculation tool developed by flight instructors.
The E6B flight computer on your phone, in Spanish, features both sides of the instrument: the wind side, with rotating discs, and the circular slide rule. It is designed for students, instructors, and pilots who want to practice and verify their calculations.
WHAT IT DOES
• Wind side: solves the wind triangle (heading, ground speed, and correction angle).
• Circular slide rule: time, speed, distance, fuel consumption, and conversions, with zoom and pan.
• Density altitude and true airspeed (TAS) from pressure altitude and temperature.
• Step-by-step guided mode for learning how to use the instrument.
PREMIUM — OPTIONAL
• Quick navigation and fuel calculators: point of no return and point of equitime, descent (TOD, rate of descent, and gradient), heading chain, and winds by altitude.
• Conversion of distance, weight, volume, and temperature.
• No ads.
Without premium, the app is free, with a discreet banner.
SOURCES AND ORIGIN OF CALCULATIONS
E6B applies universal physics and air navigation formulas; it does not calculate any procedures or requirements of any authority. The International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) follows the ICAO definition. The calculations are for practical and support purposes only: they do not replace your aircraft's official documentation or formal flight planning, and current regulations supersede any assistance provided by this app. Always verify your results.
