Folklore is a private, secure place where you, your family, and your friends can bring together all your life's memories - photos, videos, and stories - to organize, explore, and enjoy together.

Today, we're losing connection to those who matter most because the pictures and stories of our lives are scattered and easily forgotten. As memories fade, relationships grow distant and family histories risk being lost.

Folklore treats memories as living stories - made up of images, videos, voice notes, journal entries, locations, and people - not just files trapped in your camera roll. Folklore gathers everything in one place, making it easy to collaborate, add missing details, and see every perspective.

Folklore makes it easy to invite friends and family to not only add their perspective on shared experiences - but to add stories of their own that you may not have known about!

What’s new

Signing in with Google works again.

Your Library now leads with stories — a month-by-month mosaic of what you have built. Everything you have added is one tap away under "Everything", and you can now sort by when a story happened rather than when you added it.

Adding photos from your phone works again in the story view.

Folklore now opens on its own launch screen.

Also fixed: voice answers were transcribed twice, and members were named after their email address.
