All scanning happens on your device using on-device machine learning. Your camera image is never uploaded, never stored on a server, and never shared. We do not ask for an account, we do not collect personal information, and we do not track your scans.

Your scan history lives in a private database on your phone and can be cleared at any time. Uninstalling the app deletes it entirely. The only network request Simple QR Scanner makes is to load the banner ad on the home screen.
