American Family Radio is a listener supported broadcast ministry of the American Family Association. AFR exists to be a voice for AFA to help motivate and equip individuals to restore American culture to its moral foundations. AFR does this in a variety of ways with both its music/teaching format as well as its Christian Conservative Talk format. AFR is not xenophobic as we are a platform for other ministry partners such as James Dobson's Family Talk, Tony Perkins and Washington Watch or David Jeremiah's Turning Point.

AFR understands that politics and polices alone will not change America. It will take an intervention of Christ and our hearts turned back to Him. AFR hopes to educate our listeners with news and issues of the day but more importantly convey the Truth of Christ through clear presentations of the Gospel.

Well done and can easily find items. Edit. For the last few revisions, for my Android device, the app will either crash or just stop playing the audio. Sometimes it will self correct but most times i have to shut the app down and restart. This is all while being connected to one AP being my home router or the cell towers. Update #2 The app halts upon having a text message received. Will search with Android to see if i can turn that "feature"off. Update 3, all working well now!

App is not aligned with channel playing, cannot see talk channel even though can hear audio. Past versions had podcast download, seems to have disappeared. Truly enjoy the content, but app has taken step backwards. Podcasts cannot be controlled other than play or pause. Sometimes need to go back 30 seconds and hear a statement repeated. Not possible to skip ahead either.

I love the content! I've moved to an area that the AFR terrestrial network doesn't cover, so I rely on the app. I feel bad doing it, but I had to knock a star off due to the instability of the app. When I have to put the app in the background (take a call/use another app/pause it for an extended period of time) the app locks up and has to be restarted. I try to tell as many people as I can about AFR, but I always hear "sounds like great programing, but the app is too buggy" Please help!
