Note: An internet connection, 3G/4G or WiFi network is required to tune in radio stations. There may be some FM radio stations that do not work because their stream is temporarily offline.

This was the best radio app I found, and use it daily. However about 3 mos. ago every time I open the app or change stations, annoying full screen ads start and persist for up to five minutes. I don't have 5 min. to fight this app to get my favorite stations opened. I understand they need to run adds to generate revenue but this new system is the worst I've encountered. Often the same ad runs 2-3 times in succession. I'm looking for a replacement.

Update: stopping using this app. Upon opening the app everything is blocked by pop up ad windows, requiring closing the app to get rid of them. Unable to access the stations. Was a good app, but no longer. Great source for apps, but some issues. If a "station" is paused, the Radio app switches to a default station. You then need to reopen your station and search for where you left off. Frustrating. If you pause to check an email or text, you lose your station where you left off.

This app is more of a platform for delivering advertising. For example, advertisements run over broadcast time, even in the middle of broadcasting (not just when you start the app or press something on its interface). This occurs every 15-20 mins. So you miss much of the actual broadcast. Also, if you are ever in a place where the signal needs to buffer, the advertising kicks in and comes in nice and clear. And, of course, the ads have to run to completion before resuming the broadcast.
