Make Bitflinger TV Your Home Screen (Optional)

On Google TV and Android TV, Bitflinger TV can optionally replace your default
home screen so the app you actually watch from opens the moment you turn on the
TV. This feature is entirely optional, turned off by default, and you choose to
enable it during setup.

To deliver it, Bitflinger TV uses the Android AccessibilityService API. When —
and only when — you enable "Override Home Button" in Settings, the service:

- Detects the Home button press (filtering the key event) so it can open
Bitflinger TV instead of the system launcher.
- Watches for window-state changes so that if the system launcher appears on its
own (for example, after a period of inactivity), Bitflinger TV is brought back
to the foreground.

The service does not read screen content, collect personal or sensitive data, or
share anything with third parties. It is used solely to launch Bitflinger TV as
your home experience, and you can disable it at any time in Settings.

Bitflinger TV requires an auto-renewable subscription to access its features,
starting with a 14-day free trial:

Your free trial begins when you choose a plan; you won't be charged until it
ends, and you can cancel anytime before then. Payment is charged to your Google
Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically
unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage
or cancel anytime in Google Play > Subscriptions.
