About this app

Basilisk II is an Open Source 68k Macintosh emulator. That is, it enables
you to run 68k MacOS software on you computer, even if you are using a
different operating system. However, you still need a copy of MacOS and
a Macintosh ROM image to use Basilisk II.

Edit: Never mind my positive review. Reinstalled to experiment with one of my Mac games and I can't even select the files to start this. Very happy I have the Windows version running so well. Review: Works very well and can run almost all games and programs perfectly! I did, though, get the Windows version running on my phone much faster and with less errors and other glitches. For that reason, I will uninstall this. For reference, this was installed on a Galaxy S9 Plus running Android 10.

I originally was pleased with this emulator, but I have grown increasingly frustrated and the developer(s) have clearly lost interest as this hasn't been updated in years. It barely functions under Android 14 and constantly crashes such that it is no longer useable. This is such a shame as I actually used this for some old software I still rely on. Unfortunately, this is no longer functional. I would look elsewhere.

After launching, the screen is corrupted, I tried changing video settings, nothing changed. Please fix. At least it boots (if you had the correct ROMs and disk images), The GUI is directly ported over here from the SheepShaver GUI, it's terrible. Wish if there was a simpler GUI and setup like Mini vMac.
