About this game

You're a robot in a town you can walk all the way across - shops, a beach, an arcade, a cinema, and a house that's yours.

One whole town
Streets, a park, a cafe, an academy, an arcade and a beach join up through real doorways: walk to a door and you load into the next place. Open the city map to see where you are, then travel to any landmark on it.

15 games
Fly through asteroids or work a pinball table at the arcade, play chess or checkers at the academy, race ships at the space port, or lob cakes across the park in Sweet Battle. Build a robot from parts and fight another player's robot turn by turn. Cast a rod off the beach, knock coconuts out of palm trees, skip rope in time with the room. Every game feeds a high-score board.

A house that's yours
Your home is a real room your friends can walk into. Pull furniture out of the drawer, rotate it, put it anywhere - visitors see it exactly as you left it. Add new areas, paint the dome, trim and body any colour you like, and open the inside door onto an art wall only you own.

Make, collect, trade
Adopt a pet for free, then feed it, play with it and dress it. Design your Chobot: body shape, colour, layered clothing, and dances you build move by move (Citizens can save them). Trade face to face, or use the player market - fixed prices, timed auctions, and a sale history before you buy.

How chat works
An adult chooses how a child chats when the account is activated, and can change it later in the Parents Centre. Picture chat switches the typing keyboard off and builds sentences from icons instead. Typed messages, private messages and art-wall captions run through a server-side filter before they appear: text shaped like an email address, a link or a phone number is dropped, blocked words switch chat off for a cooling-off period, and near-misses go to a human moderator. Any player can be reported from their card, and moderators can kick or ban a player, or wipe a shared art wall.

Parents Centre
Sign in at parents.chobots.net with your own Chobots account; accounts registered under your email address show up there to claim.
- Read back the last 30 days of messages your child typed in public rooms - their own words only. Picture chat is built from icons, so there is nothing to log.
- Turn the typed-chat keyboard and the drawing tools on or off.
- Pause an account, then resume it when you choose.
- See level, login streak, ban history and reports filed.
- Decide whether their public profile is visible, or hand that control to them.
- Claim one free 7-day Citizenship trial in the account's first six months.

Free to play
You start with 500 Bugs and starter clothes, and every game, quest, trade, daily spin and market feature works without paying. Between rooms, free players get a loading screen that promotes things inside the game.

Citizenship is the optional membership: double Bugs, faster levelling, a bigger backpack, Citizen-only rooms and clothing, five saved outfits, saved dances, plain loading screens, a pet that follows you around town, and painting on the town's public art wall. It is a one-time purchase for a fixed term that adds to any time you already have - no subscription, no auto-renew, nothing to cancel. It can also come up as a top prize on the daily spin wheel, or from a code you crack inside the game. Chat is never behind the membership.
