About this app

Display Kit turns a compatible Android TV or Google TV device into a focused, full-screen web display for digital signage and presentations. Use it to display dashboards, menu boards, schedules, announcements, slides, information screens, and other web-based content. Setup is simple: enter an HTTPS webpage address directly on the TV, or connect a phone, tablet, or computer by scanning the QR code or entering the secure screen code. Once configured, Display Kit remembers your settings and automatically loads the selected webpage whenever the app starts. The web controller lets you update the screen URL, reload the page, send navigation commands, adjust orientation and browser zoom, configure optional offline caching, and request current device information without interrupting the display. Display Kit is designed for unattended displays rather than general-purpose TV browsing, so normal remote interaction with the displayed webpage is intentionally restricted to prevent accidental changes or scrolling. No account is required, and Display Kit does not use advertising or behavioral analytics. Remote-control commands and settings are securely relayed between your controller and TV, while displayed websites remain subject to their own privacy practices and terms. Display Kit is ideal for offices, shops, restaurants, schools, events, waiting rooms, exhibits, home dashboards, presentations, and anywhere you need a simple web-powered screen.
