About this app

Free Handicap Tracker is a simple app used to keep track of your golf handicap and scores. The app stays synced with the website (www.FreeHandicapTracker.net), so you never need to enter your scores twice. By creating an account through the Android App, you automatically have an active account at FreeHandicapTracker.net, and vice-versa.

This app is great for entering your golf scores when you have just finished a round of 18 - and the scorecard is still in-hand.

Simple to use, provides handicap average and NO FEE to use. But, it doesn't give any specific course details, or allow posting hole by hole for score card. Also, can't track any stats for play /shots; i.e. birdies, pars, bogies, etc. The app is little bit too simplistic, but it's FREE; however, the ads do sometimes get in the way.

I've used this app for several years and enjoyed how simple it is to use. The last update made it more user friendly until I was unable to enter new rounds. Hopefully you fix this or there is no reason to have this app. Even the app contract info is not updated . after contacting Jason he fixed fast. Thank you

Hi Steve, thank you for bringing this to my attention. The issue with entering scores should now be fixed.

Pretty basic and straight forward. Gives you stats and current and history of your handicap. No problems whatsoever. Only thing I'd ask for is the ability to enter 9 hole scores as the two leagues I belong to are just that, 9 holes.

What's new

Updated the Handicap Index calculation to use the new USGA formula that has taken effect January of 2020. The changes include using only the 8 lowest differential rounds from your previous 20 rounds (formerly the calculation used lowest 10). Also dropped the .96 multiplier in accordance to the new USGA formula.

Please notice, your Handicap Index will likely have changed slightly, without entering any new rounds, as a result of these changes.
