It's a pretty nice casual game, typical Kairosoft fare. It's fun and cute and addictive, there's a lot to do and it provides a lot of entertainment just watching the town go by. My only complaint would be the monthly subscription concept, something required just to get nicer housing. One of the things I've always loved about this company is being able to pay upfront for a complete and engaging game. It's the only thing I'm not a huge fan of here...
It is a Kairo game and that's great in itself. However, lock an option to moves building is a really bad thing for such a complex game. I-m tempted to delete the game at first because i felt cheated out of a basic function which shouldn't get lock behind a paywall in the first place. Why not use the old system where moving things just cost money then having Ex. pass makes it free.
Definitely a slower paced game than usual, but very satisfying and fun to log-in to a couple of times per day! There are quite a few mechanics to slowly get used to, and while there is randomness to it (unlocking facilities is by "lucky draw"), it's not game-breaking in my opinion. As others have said it plays like a mix of Venture Towns and Dream House Days. I've purchased the pass for unlimited pass and think it's a worthwhile cost.
I've been a fan of the kairosoft games for a while now, the Dream Town Story game is so much fun. It's a little more on the slow side compared to their other games like Dream House story, but this one is so much better with graphics, gameplay just other factors. I enjoy playing these games so much, and I recommend that you should play it as well it's a great way to pas time throughout the day.
This game is addicting. Overall pleasing for me. However, i dislike the idea of monthly payment for subscription just to have the "Exclusive Pass". I would rather purchase the game than paying MYR20 monthly.
Love the game. But the whole monthly subscription just to move objects more then twice a day, and 'subscription only' for features like roads, is annoying.
