The first thing that grabbed my attention was the pixel art - which they did a good job. It's like any other monster collecting game, but this time it's pirates! (With some monsters to bring along as well) They are generous with giving players currency that you use to purchase more pirates. By rank 20 it becomes real easy to get large sums of them. The mechanics are smooth and the gameplay is easy to understand, but can be difficult to master sometimes. They have a wiki that provides most answers for new players, which is a plus. Everything, including stamina, is upgradable via relics that are obtained from quests and use in-game resources to upgrade them, which is another plus. Overall, if you like monster-collecting style games with a buckaneer twist, sailing to different lands to gather loot, then I'd recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic game. I'd love to give 5 stars but there is a ridiculous amount of dialogue. Basically you're gonna restart the game a few times to get more coins, the games premium currency, and when you do the game treats everything fresh so you're going to have to tap past all the dialogue that interrupts the game repeatedly. Would be the best game I've played on a phone of not for the unnecessary dialogue. Came back to the game. If it's worth coming back it's worth another star.

Amazing game that you can easily spend multiple hours on. Medals can be a bit scarce if you don't save them and trust me you're gonna need them. My main gripe is the late game difficulty spike. You'll need to optimize every little detail about your ship and part which means hatching the best monsters just to stand a chance. Doing this requires an insane amount of medals which are annoying to gather at this point in the game. I know it's a ftp game. If medals played a smaller role then 5 Stars.
