About this app
The Safety on Site app is used to keep track of where the different project skills are on construction sites. It sends location data at regular intervals – GPS coordinates and proximity to Bluetooth Beacons located around the site. This allows us to have a real-time view of the project and enables enhanced safety alerting on site.
The app uses Location Services and Bluetooth Low Energy to determine your location on site when the app is running in the foreground or background. We have used GPS and Bluetooth Low Energy in a power-efficient way however, as with all apps that use location, please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
