Shooting Expert 2 is a handgun shooting range game. You turn the phone to aim, line the crosshair up on glass bottles and steel poppers, and press FIRE. Every level gives you a fixed number of rounds and a clock, so the fast shot and the careful shot are not the same decision.
CLASSIC RANGE
Ten levels, each with its own ammunition count and its own timer, between 60 and 90 seconds. How close you get to the level's maximum score decides whether you walk away with one, two or three stars, and one star is enough to open the next level. Your best score on each level is saved, so there is always an old run to beat.
CONTINUAL
One run, no level list, and the clock is the only thing that ends it. Every target you hit buys back a little time, so a good streak keeps itself alive. Your best continual run has its own leaderboard.
AIMING AND CONTROLS
Aim with the gyroscope by turning the phone, or swipe the screen, or do both at once. Gyro speed is adjustable from 50% to 200% and the vertical axis can be inverted. Phones without a gyroscope use swipe aiming instead. Firing sits on its own button, so moving the crosshair never sets off a shot you did not mean to take.
TARGETS AND SCORING
Glass bottles break and steel poppers fall. A popper is worth 30 for a body hit, 50 for the center and 70 for the head, and a bottle is worth 40. Targets further down the range are smaller and worth more, up to double. You carry 45 to 60 rounds into a level, so accuracy pays better than volume.
PLAY GAMES
Nine achievements covering bottles, poppers and overall progress, and two leaderboards: career score and best continual run. Signing in is optional and needs a connection.
Levels open by score alone. The range plays offline, and only the leaderboards and achievements need the internet.
