Speaking clock is a free application. Using the app to give you voice announcements means you do not have to watch the clock to know the current time.
Currently, the first version of the application has a bundle of Vietnamese, English, Hindi, Japanese languages, and in subsequent upgrades the developer will add other language packs.

I liked this clock, til it was upgraded. Before I had the option to select the length of time between time announcements, but since upgrading, I only can choose only between hourly announcements or half hour or every 15 minutes. Before upgrading I could select right down to every 5 minutes, which helped me get to appointments on time. Now I have to find another app that gives me more time choices.

even if the time period is set to not speak, it still does so anyway. English is terrible: for example it speaks "it's 1pm O'CLOCK" and it shows "Chose" as selection for "Save". Samsung actually has built-in read text function inside "Modes & Routines" that does the same thing without battery drain. Create → If → Specific time → Then → Read text aloud. Simply type the time you want it to read out loud! 😄

So far so good, plain and simple, can i purchase ? A Day later..Yea it works now when it feels like, sometimes it tells the time on the settings of 30 min and sometimes it says nothing after 30 mins, same with the other Min settings, at first it speaks then stops and doesnt speak until my display is back on. Worked nicely at first
