LockApp is a simple and secure shortcut to LOCK your screen with a single tap.
Ideal if you want to save the physical button or need to quickly turn off the screen from the desktop.
MAIN FEATURES
• Button/Widget to instantly lock your screen (two styles: light and dark).
• No internet connection, no ads, and no trackers.
• It takes up very little space and doesn't stay in the background and drain battery life.
• Compatible with Android 7.0 or higher.
HOW IT WORKS
To lock your screen, Android requires you to enable the app as a "Device Administrator."
Open LockApp and tap "Enable Administrator."
Accept the system dialog (you'll see that the only policy used is "Force Lock").
Add the widget to your home screen and tap it when you want to turn off the screen.
PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS
• We don't collect, store, or share personal data.
• We don't use the internet.
• The Device Administrator permission is used EXCLUSIVELY to run DevicePolicyManager.lockNow() and lock the screen. No other actions are performed (no data wipes, no password changes, etc.).
TIPS
• If the widget is unresponsive, make sure LockApp is still enabled as Device Administrator.
• You can use the widget style that best matches your background (white or dark).
• Long-press the widget icon to resize it, depending on your launcher.
UNINSTALL / DISABLE
Before uninstalling, go to Settings > Security > Device Administrator Apps and disable LockApp. You can then uninstall it normally from the system or from Google Play.
