Japanese Calendar Pon is an app that converts dates between the Japanese and Western calendars simply by selecting a date on the screen.

Instead of searching through a list, simply select "April 3, 1987" or "April 3, Showa 62" from an email or webpage and press "Japanese Calendar Pon" in the menu.

■ What you can find out at once:
・Western/Japanese calendar (with a switch for the first year of the new era)

・Day of the week

・Age (years and months)

・School year (correct for those born early in the year)

・Year of elementary school entrance, middle school/high school/university graduation

・Chinese zodiac sign

■ Copy in a format that can be directly used on documents

Choose and copy from "April 3, Showa 62," "S62.4.3," "April 3, 1987," or "1987/04/03."

You can also replace the selected date with the Japanese or Western calendar in any text input field.

■ When writing documents
- When writing enrollment and graduation years on resumes and work history documents
- When writing Japanese calendar dates on documents for government offices, insurance companies, hospitals, and schools
- When you want to check "how old you are as of April 1st of [year]"

■ Supported date formats
- April 3, 1987, 1987/4/3, 1987-04-03, full-width numerals
- April 3, Showa 62, S62.4.3, H31.4.30, May 1, Reiwa 1, Chinese numeral year
- For non-existent years like "Showa 65," alternative readings will be displayed.

■ How to use
- No ads, no in-app purchases, no login required
- No data connection is used

* Supported dates are from Meiji 6 (1873) onwards.

* There is no year list (quick reference) screen. The app will convert dates when you select or enter them.

* If "Wareki Pon" does not appear in the selection menu on your device or app, please use the share menu or manual input (its appearance in the menu is due to Android's specifications).
