My first feeder worked great for years then finally died. The new one has only been trouble. It took *hours* to get it to connect (that's not hyperbole, literally hours). Not a single notification has ever come through despite setting all the correct toggles and permissions. And tonight I noticed that scheduled feeds didn't work, and I have no way to know unless I check the app multiple times a day. Every pro I held is now a giant con. This feeder is nothing but an unreliable hassle.

App suddenly stopped recognizing wifi to the smart door. Smart door still shows it's connected, but I can't make any changes due to the app saying it's offline. Why not allow use of Bluetooth!? It has it onboard Following up - had an open ticket with petsafe for months. Showed them multiple routers, connecting via phone hot spot all didn't work on TWO doors and their conclusion was it's my internet connection and I have to take it up with my ISP... Never buying another Petsafe product

Setting this up was the most miserable experience of my life. I spent over an hour and a half troubleshooting, setting up a 2.4ghz wifi connection, trying different devices, and resetting the feeder countless times. Every time I would figure out one thing, another thing went wrong. I got constant unresolvable errors. I am so frustrated that I am returning the feeder. I will never buy another pet safe product again if this is the typical user experience
