About this app

Use the PetSafe SMART DOG app with the PetSafe SMART DOG Remote Trainer (PDT00-15748) to train your dog and prevent jumping, digging and other misbehaviors. It works fairly well as long as you can get the connector to get through the fur. We have a German Shepherd and his fur is fairly thick so we ended up taking the connectors off a different collar that were longer. Also wish I could could keep the app open while doing other things with my phone. Kind of a hassle to have to keep logging in and out.

Terrible app. It never stays connected therefore when you're trying to correct your dog, you're way behind because you have to sit and wait for it to connect. Out of the week and a half that I've had this, it's been useful one time. I'll be returning this and purchasing another collar with a remote from Amazon. Fraction of the price and 100% reliable every time.

Watched a video before buying this collar. It looked in the video like it had a range setting. It does not have a range setting. It needs a range setting like the wireless fence has. Why doesn't it have that? Also if I'm using my phone the app fails completely. Also the package claims to have a usb charger that it does not have with it at all.
