Even though it's not much of a standard crossword game, this is pretty much the most fun a crossword game can get (compared to most games i've played before). The game mechanic is satisfying, and the UI is clean! The only thing this needs is a proper portrait layout (seeing others that have been anticipating it for quite some time).

Hands down my favourite crossword app. The new year puzzles are sometimes not out until February or March but I personally don't really care. I tend to play multiple puzzles and try to go through the past years. There's so many puzzles, you can just start over new any time and it won't be boring. Mechanics are still the most user friendly of any crossword app I've used.

Fantastic and unique crossword puzzle. Unfortunately, for the fourth year in a row, the yearly update is delayed. The update has been made later and later. A quarter of the year has now passed without an update. Time to finally uninstall and find a replacement.
