About this app

This clock app makes it easy for people with dementia or Alzheimer's to keep track of time. It can help to avoid phone calls in the middle of the night! You can set up periods of the day such as Morning, Afternoon, Tea time etc. For each period you can say when it starts and finishes, and which days it occurs.
Although it comes set up with reasonable default values it is highly configurable.
The display can give just the day of the week and the period of the day. There is also the option of displaying the actual time and/or date if required.
You can adjust the sizes of the various display elements to suit your needs and also select a contrasting colour scheme for some periods, e.g. dark colours during the night.
Full help is built into the app. You can save your settings to a file for backup or transfer to another device.
The idea is based on the old Unix fuzzy clock and research done by the Bath Institute of Medical Engineers.

Hopefully it'll be helpful for my mother in-law w/ dementia🤞 She has a rough time some night's or evening's so, I'm hoping this app will really come in handy for her when she wakes up from a nap thinking it's 6am & it's really 6pm! App is VERY clean looking w/ NO ads! I love the many custom options for text/colors & such! The one thing (big thing unfortunately) that we'd really NEED to see is an option to keep it on all the time, even on the lock screen! That is crucial! Once that's added, 5⭐

Excellent clock - I was going to buy a reminder clock like this but they were so expensive but this app does exactly the same things and you can put in silly text for the first line! Love it - installed on tablets so us oldies can see them and its a great reminder of the day when you are home all the time and forget.

Thank you so much for this app. I'm trying to set something up for my father with dementia. I really like the configurable periods, but would love additional ability to make choose whether a line of text is all caps or upper/lower case for readability. Also, I wish this was a screen saver on the lock screen rather than an app you have to launch all the time.
