Sherlock Search helps you look for possible visual matches to a photo across publicly accessible web sources. Upload a clear photo, purchase reusable search credits through Google Play, and review possible matches with source links inside the app.
No account is required. Before purchase, you provide an email so unused credits can be recovered after reinstalling, clearing app data, or changing devices. Google Play handles payment, and search credits are one-time consumable purchases—not subscriptions.
Your selected photo stays on your device while you prepare the search. It is uploaded only after a purchase or existing credit is confirmed. Submitted photos and cached result media are retained for up to 24 hours.
Results are possible visual matches, not identity verification. Visual similarity can be wrong. Review each source and its context before drawing a conclusion.
