Q: What is Stitch?
A: Stitch is a community for adults 50 years and over helping them find the companionship they need. For some people this might be a romantic partner, for others it could just be a friend. Stitch recognizes that there are many different types of companionship, and that the need for companionship doesn’t go away as we age.

Q: Is Stitch a dating site?
A: Many Stitch members are seeking dating and romance, and find partners through the Stitch community. Stitch is about a lot more than just dating, however: many of our members are simply looking for friendship, and all enjoy having a little more companionship in their lives. This app is not for senior singles or anyone else. You can sign up for free, but are then coerced to buy a membership. They don't give you a few days to try it to see if you'll like it, you are forced the very first day you try it. Total BS. In response to Stitch spokesperson I am correct. I experienced your app first today. I filled all necessary information & was looking through the 'Champions' section at 2 people (both in another country) I tried to see another & was stopped.

I get this is a totally personal experience, but I felt the Stitch experience wasn't necessarily for over 50s, but perhaps for over 60s and beyond. I attended one event and I was the youngest by a long margin (I am 54). The majority of events were scheduled for weekdays. I still work and will be for at least a decade. So it seems to be geared to retirees with time on their hands. Not necessarily over 50s.

Don't do this! Little you can do until you're verified. To do this they send a code and you take a pic of yourself holding the code, a weird process and not verification at all as I could take a pic of anyone holding that code as long as it matched with my profile pic. Why is the standard verification process used successfully by other companies not used here? You also have to pay a monthly fee for complete access. Very underhand for not making that fee clear in the first place.
