Q: What is Stitch?
A: Stitch is a community for adults 50 years and over helping them find the companionship they need. For some people this might be a romantic partner, for others it could just be a friend. Stitch recognizes that there are many different types of companionship, and that the need for companionship doesn’t go away as we age.

Q: Is Stitch a dating site?
A: Many Stitch members are seeking dating and romance, and find partners through the Stitch community. Terrible app. Free version but you can't do anything or get an idea of the paid version. Just joined to attend a friend's events but I can't do this! You should be able to connect with 3-5 people for free and get to go to their events. Was sent multiple welcome messages but this was a little creepy. Had questions but only given a short time to reply to their messages which I missed the time frame. Spam emails constantly! They say only event emails but it's CONSTANT and even after unsubscribing!

The app doesnt even work. Just keeps saying error loading. But then i find out, after giving details, that you have to pay. All sites are free to join. Its the underhanded way of getting details and withholding the fee part, i dont like. To verify they want you to hold up a number in photo. What am i, a felon having mugshots taken? Ridiculous! Will erase the account i set up. Should be re named stitch-up

This phone app is the perfect compliment to the web based full site version. I have found it to work great without any bugs. Using this app is very easy and any messages are easily retrieved as well as smoothly browsing for any events/ activities, discussions, groups or reaching out to connections. For me, one thing that makes it preferable to the web based version is the ability to use my Google OS voice recognition on my smart phone when messaging someone which I can't do from my computer.
