Customer service is a joke. Card is a scam with hidden fees for certain payment options. I used the text to pay feature and was still charged a late fee every month due to payment not going through in time. So between interest and fees I was actually going negative every month. The text even says, "Today is the day." When actually today is too late. I went paperless, and the app was not letting me see statements. Called customer service, they said they could not give them to me. AVOID THIS SCAM

Mercury raised my interest rate after I had been a loyal customer for years. I had zero late/missed payments. They arbitrarily raised my interest rate to 37% for new purchases and started charging me $100 per year to have their card! And if I didn't agree to the change they would reduce my available credit to zero which would tank my credit score. Don't get this card.

Been with Mercury for several years w/ a good experience until today, 1/4/26. They've never charged an annual fee until now. I saw a $99 annual fee & called about it. Per reps I spoke wt (3) they just started this for 2026. The fee is non refundable per all 3 reps. I work on the road & do all business on app or web. They didn't alert anyone via app when making payment. Only mailed letter, which I don't see because I work on road. I feel like it wasn't communicated well & taken advantage of.
