A nifty toolbox.
Really great app that works well and has lots of features, I would definitely recommend to others interested in experimenting with phone sensor data. The one thing I would love to see is support for collecting sensor data while the device screen is off or the app is running in the background, but regardless this app is worth the money.
Very handy for geeks like me!. Would like to see a Motion Reference Unit type display particularly with Heave for maritime applications
Excellent app, thanks. I would love it even more if it opened with the sensor/app I was using when I last closed it. Or perhaps there could be a set-up option to specify the default sensor/app.
Lightweight, configurable and reliable - likely the only sensor app I will ever need. .CSV logging elevates this app from a "physics toy" to a surprisingly competent and useful tool, the UI looks good and doesn't get in my way, no ads or nag screens to be seen anywhere. The developers have been actively working on additions/fixes for years and I never had any technical problems across four different Android devices. A warm recommendation from me for both this app and the development team! Some nitpicks: - the contextual settings button is nice, but in some situations I'd appreciate a list overview of all options for all sensors instead (setting up the options for multi-record currently requires me to select each individual sensor, go to its settings, then to repeat the process for every single one - slightly annoying, and could be fixed with a complete options menu) - more units of measurement would be great (e.g. mT option for the magnetometer) - I'd really like some more visual options, namely an RGB/A color picker for backgrounds, lines, text and axes, a "Line Width in pixels" setting instead of three presets, the possibility to display data as discrete points instead of continuous graphs - a "scheduled measurement" feature that allows you to set up automatic measurements would be the bee's knees (e.g. take a 30s magnetometer measurement every day at 6PM, then auto-upload or auto-save the .csv). That would extend the app's usefulness for scientific projects quite a bit, but I realize that it's a pain to implement so I won't hold it against the dev if this feature doesn't materialize.
It's all there and works. Very good app.
New sensor mode for audio visualization.
