Had the original app, loved it. Then they go and change it and I lose all my previous rides and garage entrys. I uninstall then install and it won't let me log in. Terrible app for Android users. Update. With help from Polaris, got logged in but app still freezes up after trying to move map and zoom into my riding area. And keep getting "poor data signal" error. Shouldn't be this difficult to fix an app. Sorry Polaris, dropped the ball on this one.
First of all, thanks Polaris for putting this together. This app has the potential to be the most useful app ever. Unfortunately it constantly freezes up on my Android motog. I can't really use it's map function for much longer than a minute with out it freezing. Maybe it is my phone but the older version of the app riderx works fine. If all the functions worked as intended this would easily be a five star app. The trail maps are spot on in Northern NY. I love that you can create an account and view the trail map with your computer as it is easier to plan trips and recognize locations on a larger screen. The only improvement I could think of would be if you could create a ride with the map using your account on a computer. Then you could download it on your phone and use it to follow. Really would like to rate this higher but it doesn't work much at all on my phone. I'm not giving up though because this has a lot of potential.
Pay big money for screen, thinking the app should be good to go along with it. It is terribly slow makes it very frustrating, not to mention constantly having to update. If you can get it to work
The UP-8 trail East of Shingleton,Michigan missing. Also segment either side of Chatham,Mi missing. 20171218 Mi Offline Maps. Also crashes on Galaxy S7 Edge. Ridiculous storage requirements. Uses over a quarter gig of internal storage. Used to be a better when it was Snow Trails by Rider X.
Nice app for the major trails. Ride tracking is very choppy, needs editing features. The app's major shortfall is there is no provision to import outside data (gpx import or sync with Google maps) making it impossible to add local trails or club maps. Add some import functionality and this could be a 5 star app. Reply: Thank you, but many clubs don't want their trail info that public. Even if I could publish my local club, I couldn't publish neighboring clubs. Please give us a personal solution. The app has tracking ability, it even has an sharing function. It would take very little for your programmers to allow us to import tracks from outside sources using a standard gps format
Constantly getting an error saying there is a poor data signal (even though all other apps work for me and I'm connected to wifi). When it works, it's a great resource but unfortunately that isn't very often. Have emailed support like many others so maybe Polaris will spend some time/resources on fixing their product!
Improvements to our trail update service to keep your map current with the latest info from trail managers.
