About this app

Whether you want to check all your favorite currencies at a glance, quickly calculate prices in a foreign country, visualise changes in historical exchange rates or just browse the banknotes for far-flung countries, you've found the ideal currency converter and exchange rate tool to use both at home and when travelling abroad.

Used by millions of people around the world, it combines an easy to use, modern design with an accurate, commercial data feed that is updated every sixty seconds. But if you are away from the internet, that's okay, it works offline too!

Find whatever you need to convert in the extensive, searchable database containing almost every currency that exists, along with many popular commodities and cryptocurrencies, then save to your favorites with a single tap.

The currency converter comes with a handy in-built calculator and you can choose to convert using the current live exchange rates or with your own custom values.

Interactive historical currency charts are available from the last day to the last decade, along with a full catalogue of banknote images and integration with Wikipedia and several popular financial websites.

The appearance can be customized with light and dark material themes.

after the update you have added an extra menu-type interface when pressing on any currency. Previous version would bring up the calculator upon pressing any currency, worked great for quick calculations and adding different currencies in chunks. Right now it is very cumbersome to use. May have to look for an alternative after almost a decade of fantastic use.

Hi. The extra tap is the trade-off for making the calculator, converter, charts and other options actually visible — they were previously hidden behind a long-press menu that most users never found. An update is being pushed out shortly to make the bottom sheet a little more fast and friendly. Thanks!

I've used this app for 10 YEARS! Now it has the worst UI/UX I've ever seen in an app, it used to be perfect! Now I have to click more, and it's ugly and non-functional. AND NOW I NEED TO HOLD FOR THE CALCULATOR OMG! AND THE CALCULATOR LAYOUT IS MESSED UP CAN'T USE IT NO MORE. Uninstalled. Will use Google Search for currency converter or another app. BYE. WHAT A MOVE YOU PULLED

Hello! The app has been rebuilt using Material 3 (Google's official Android design system). Single tap now opens a primary navigation / action panel as prescribed by Google's UX guidelines. Long press shortcuts to the calculator as a convenience. Not aware of any layout issues with the calculator - please email us screenshot. Thanks!

I will have to go with the rest & say I am not a fan of the long press. Why didn't you go the other way & leave the normal press functionality as it was & have the long press show the new functionality? Seems more logical to me.

That's the problem. It's not new functionality. It was already on the long press for historical reasons and most users never found it. Rebuilding the app in Material3 / Compose was the right time to align with modern Android UX standards since that popup menu had to change to a bottom sheet. Users hate change, but it will be normal in a few days!
