About this app

Pasiv Companion is a remote monitor for Pasiv, the free desktop mining app for macOS, Windows and Linux.

It does not mine on your phone. No mining, hashing, or background computation of any kind runs on this device. The app reads the status of machines you already run and can start or stop them — that is all it does.

START HERE: YOU NEED THE DESKTOP APP
Pasiv runs on your computer, and that is where the mining happens. Install it free from pasiv.network on a Mac, Windows or Linux machine, switch on Pasiv Cloud in Settings, then sign in here with the same wallet. Until a computer of yours is running Pasiv, this app has no rigs to show you.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See every rig at a glance — mining, paused, warming up, or offline
• Track the estimated daily value of your whole fleet in one number
• Check per-rig hashrate, active coin, and accepted shares
• Start or stop any rig from anywhere
• Rename and reorder rigs so the list matches how you think about them

SIGN IN WITH YOUR WALLET
You sign in by signing a message with a wallet you already have, through WalletConnect. That signature proves the rigs are yours. Pasiv never asks for a private key or a seed phrase, never holds funds, and has no ability to move them.

WHAT IT DELIBERATELY CANNOT DO
The only remote actions are start, stop, and update. Update installs a release we signed — it cannot deliver anything else. Nothing remote can change which coin a rig mines, which pool it uses, or where it pays out; there is no way to express those commands, and any command expires after two minutes. Payout addresses are never sent to our servers; they stay on your machine and with your pool.

Tap "See a demo" on the first screen to browse a sample fleet. Nothing leaves your device, and you do not need a rig or a wallet to look around.

REQUIREMENTS
The free Pasiv desktop app from pasiv.network, running on a Mac, Windows or Linux machine, with Pasiv Cloud switched on in Settings. Pasiv Cloud is off by default.
