Small bug Renaming to the same name with different casing fails. As Android has a case sensitive filesystem this should not be an issue. Instead I have to rename to something else first, then the new casing :( "mv" from adb works perfectly so it's clearly not an Android issue, definitely a bug.
Since ES File Explorer became a load of bloatware, I needed to find an alternative. This, coupled with the root add-on is PERFECT. It's fully customisable and it looks exactly as I'd like a file manager to look. The design is clean and sleek, with an array of themes and icon packs to choose from. I don't know how long this app has been around, but I have been missing out by using ES over this. Kudos to the devs and please don't change anything about this app, apart from any bug fixes that arise :). Works perfectly on rooted stock MM.
Just wow! A very clean and usable interface. No-ad policy for a free version and ability to hide unnecessary shortcuts from main screen are great features. Just love it. Theme support is outstanding (Faenza icons).
MM SD Card still broken Cannot Cut files in SD Card still broken! No reply from support email at all. But finally updated for Portable Storage in Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
Unresponsive developer, OTG drive not recognized on Marshmallow I've emailed the developer twice with support questions and have gotten no response after almost two months. After recently discovering that FX Pro inexplicably doesn't recognize my OTG drive - something I really needed at a customer site - I'm looking for an alterative. ES File Explorer drove me to FX with their shenanigans, but FX may well drive me back.
The perfect file explorer But please add an option to exit on long pressing the back button and allow sliding between open windows, and the new makeover need some fixing
Material Design user interface makeover. Added FX Connect to enable wireless transfers of files between devices, and FX Web Access (based on NextApp WebSharing) for computer-device file transfers.
FX 5.0.1: Bugfixes. Music playlist import/export (M3U format). Archive performance improvements/fixes.
