For a Linux geek... the best file browser out there I use this to sync files from my cloud accounts and even personal servers. One feature request though... When downloading multiple directories, if a directory exists already the entire transfer fails. Could you provide an option to skip or overwrite? Otherwise amazing work!
Works as advertised + no scamware Yep. Here I am because I just found that charge boost garbage on my phone from a competitor's app. Bought this add-on because of the same exact reason it's on sale - that competitor's move is bunk, and cost them many several-year users and many potential sales. UI leaves a little bit to be desired, haven't tested thoroughly but with 2 add-in packs it looks like everything I need.
Nice but... The SMB connection seems buggy...when i click "browse" it does a "operation could not be completed" and does not find my computer on the same wifi. I compared with ES Explorer and Solid Explorer and both did find my computer immediately. It seems that FX does not have a video stream server like ES or Solid do, because once i added my computer manually with smb the streamed videos (with mx player) are much slower than through ES or Solid...please correct this because i love your interface so much more
Error in rename While I try to capitalize file names. It says a file with that name already exists. Eg. Trying to rename 'file' to 'File' is not possible. Only work around was to rename the file to e.g Ffile and again rename to File. P.S. I love FX and have been using it since my first Android phone. Keep up the great work. You guys are amazing.
Good but needs more works The web access feature is just not what it intended to be, hard to use, Not polished web interface and laggy compared to the Airdroid. It definitely need to change. I'm looking forward to these issues to be addressed in the coming updates. Anyway great work overall, keep going 👍
Mediocre Functionality It lacks some important functions. For example, OTG USB Drive and backup settings. It can't open larger PDF file directly. I need to download then open it. If you open a network video file, it won't resume next time no matter what video player you are using. Other file explorers have no such problem. And, there is no response for tech support email.
