About this app

Take control of your internet connection with InternetGuard, a powerful no-root firewall for Android. Block internet access for individual apps, manage Wi-Fi and mobile data usage, protect your privacy, and monitor network activity—all without rooting your device.

InternetGuard uses Android’s VPN Service to filter network traffic directly on your device. It lets you decide which apps can connect to the internet and whether they can use Wi-Fi or mobile data.

🔥 BLOCK INTERNET ACCESS PER APP

Choose exactly which installed apps can access the internet. Allow trusted apps and block unwanted connections with a few simple taps.

📶 CONTROL WI-FI AND MOBILE DATA

Create separate internet access rules for Wi-Fi and mobile data. Prevent selected apps from consuming mobile data while still allowing them to work over Wi-Fi.

🔒 NO ROOT FIREWALL

InternetGuard works without root access. You do not need to unlock, modify, or root your Android device to use its firewall features.

📊 MONITOR APP DATA USAGE

See how your apps use the internet and identify applications that consume unnecessary data. InternetGuard helps you reduce mobile data usage and understand your device’s network activity.

🔔 REAL-TIME ACCESS NOTIFICATIONS

Receive notifications when apps attempt to connect to the internet. Stay informed about background connections and decide which apps should remain online.

🌐 MANAGE APP ADDRESSES

Advanced users can allow or block specific internet addresses for individual applications, providing more precise control over network connections.

Monitor your current network speed from the status bar and quickly see how much data your device is sending and receiving.

VPN SERVICE DISCLOSURE

InternetGuard uses Android’s VpnService to create a local firewall and filter network traffic on your device. This service is essential to the app’s core internet-blocking functionality. Because Android permits only one active VPN service at a time, InternetGuard cannot operate simultaneously with another VPN app.

overflooded logs, even if I'm asking to stop logging for some apps. ugly rules definition: hot to block requests to url belonging to CDN, or clouds? and I uninstall it after got an ad with a sound (!!). and AI for some funny reason embedded too. just wrong app for me, the guy, who want to control traffic from my smartphone

Since installing, this app refuses to run more than 2 full seconds before crashing, (the 2 second estimate is a little generous) I cannot tell if this app is an overrated scam and a Trojan horse, or just just poorly written code. A firewall is supposed to be one of the most critical apps on a device, not the least reliable. What makes me the most upset is that my device is left unprotected as I write this review. Multiple reboots haven't done one thing to improve its ability to work
