About this app

This app is a digital toolbox for groundwater development. It assists in common tasks such as geophysics measurements, drill log data capture and reporting, and pumping tests. Captured data can be organised in projects.

Drill logs -- users can capture information during drilling using a visual interface. When submitted, the user receives a drill log in pdf format with professional layout.

Pumping tests -- Capture pumping test data such as level, discharge and water quality parameters, plus information on location, borehole reference, etc.. After submission, the user receives an Excel file with all the data, including drawdown graphs.

Geophysics -- currently, the app supports Vertical Electrical Soundings (VES) and Horizontal Electrical Profiling (HEP) measurements, both using the Wenner or Schlumberger array spacings. Data can be entered in voltage/current format, or in resistance format (for example from a Terrameter). The app can be used in combination with the Practica Foundation Volterra device, a low-cost resistivity measurement device.

After submission of geophysics data, the user receives a pdf report with the data, and with computed models for 3, 4, and 5 layers and an Occam model. The raw data in Excel format is also provided.

A web interface which allows online access to the data is currently under development. The web interface shows data on a map and allows filtering and downloading of pdf reports.

The app can handle both SI and Imperial units, and is available in English, French, and Portuguese.

App itself is really good, emails the report to you quickly. Only down side is some of the writing can bleed over the next layer for layers close together.

I fell in love with this app no doubt. I hope I'll be able to communicate with the developer on ways to modernize if need arize. I'll also wish this app can be downloaded on PCs,Androids,ipads and palm tops. Wonderful app!

Almost perfect. But I wonder, why don't they add an option to attach photos? That's very basic. Pls, do it!
