About this app

https://logopedie-apps.nl

Speech Therapy Articulation App for Kids: articulation and pronunciation exercises. The app can also be used to expand vocabulary. In addition, the app can be used by adults to work on articulation, speech and memory.

This app is designed for children and adults with speech problems who receive speech therapy. It is a good way to practice with sounds that are practiced at the Speech Therapist. The app is full of photos, fun exercises and games. This motivates practice and results in better and faster progress.

The Speech Therapy Articulation App was designed in collaboration with Linda van Kleef, Speech Therapist.

Speech Therapy Articulation App contains 26 sounds of the Dutch language.
A, B, D, F, G, G clusters, H, I, J, K, K clusters, L, L – clusters, M, N, NG, NK, O, P, P clusters, R, R- clusters, S, S clusters, T, T – clusters, U,V, W, Z

Speech therapists have selected words that match the progression and level of difficulty. The target words are carefully selected for differences in word positions, sound complexity and word structure. The app also has a handy “repeat and record” function.

The app contains interesting photos and illustrations on various topics. The pictures contain common objects, nouns, verbs and descriptive words. These are excellent pictures and words to support vocabulary development.

– These exercises are not suitable as a substitute for a therapy session with a Speech Therapist. Using the app helps with daily homework, making practice fun and motivating. It is important that a family member is present and supports the client in his/her exercises.

– Before starting these exercises, it is important that the client can produce the sound loosely and in a simple syllable. This is to prevent frustration. The exercises and games will help develop the use of the sound in more complicated words.

– If you are not sure what to do, talk to your Speech Therapist."
