Ratings and reviews

Ads and 'pay for better visibility' stuff is getting really intrusive now. The ad banners goes too far. Also, if you have 20 ads and you haven't sold them within a month, you'll get 20(!!) emails asking if you already sold them. And ofcourse, when saying you haven't, you'll be asked to pay money for "visibility"... after EVERY item! Not to mention the push notifications that try to let you use the app, which can't be turned off. Edit: And now i need to pay the renew my ads?!? Yeah, not happening

The app works alright but is just missing so much quality of life support. You can notice Marktplaats are the biggest, from my perspective that makes them lazy in adding functionality. Two features that would each add a star to my review. 1) "Never show this again" button on some notifications. 2) The option to tell the app you are not interested in items it shows. I made some searches that got misinterpreted and now my feed is full of items/item groups that are useless to me.

While a lot of people are using it and therefore you are able to find a lot of products, the user experience is pretty bad. I had trouble placing ads to sell things and now I discovered that even after a success message my ads are gone. This is really frustrating. Another negative point is that you need to pay to add a link in the description of an item. Usually I like to provide the information of the original product, but this makes it impossible.

Thanks for using Marktplaats! We've made a number of improvements in this update. Some you'll notice, while others are technical in nature. We'll not bore you with with too many details, suffice to say that you can look forward to a better trading experience.
