Redevelopment of A.C. de Graafweg Graaf
The A.C. de Graafweg (N241) is a 12 kilometer long road with a lot of traffic and a large number of entrances and exits. The road is known as dangerous because it is narrow and no longer meets current safety requirements. The province is going to redesign the road to improve road safety and guarantee traffic flow.
At the same time as the road works, PWN's drinking water pipeline will be moved next to the road.
The A.C. de Graafweg (N241) in West Friesland connects the N242 with the A7 and runs from Verlaat to Wijzend via Opmeer and crosses 3 municipalities: Heerhugowaard, Opmeer and Medemblik. It is an important east-west connection for the region, both for residents and businesses.
Cooperation between the province of Noord-Holland, PWN and Boskalis
In this project, the province of Noord-Holland, PWN and contractor Boskalis Nederland are working together on a safe road and guaranteed drinking water.
