About this app
The BouwApp ensures that you are informed about the status of construction and infrastructure projects in the Netherlands. It can be the construction of your own house, but also the new construction of the highway or hospital in your area. The BouwApp maps out the latest developments of a project for you by publishing photos and status updates. These are posted by the construction and infrastructure companies. Download and see what is being built in your area and you are aware of the latest state of affairs.
Powerful search function
In the BouwApp you can search for construction projects and construction companies that you are interested in. This can be done on a map, but also by entering search criteria, for example searching by name, place or construction company.
Favorites
With the BouwApp you can add construction and infrastructure projects to your favorites. You can continue to follow these projects without having to start the App each time. You will receive a signal with every new update. This way you are the first to be informed of the latest developments.
GPS location scanner
The BouwApp automatically scans construction and infrastructure projects in your area via GPS. You will find these projects in the spotlights.
Share and like
If the construction of your house or other project reaches a milestone, you can 'like' and/or share the accompanying photo on your Twitter or Facebook page.
Is a construction project not in the App. Let us know via the BouwApp and we will approach the construction company.

Great idea, but it does not work currently. It is very slow. Searching for a project doesn't work, and trying to log in gives an error (Failed to send email, try again later.) (Samsung S23)

In Almere Huit a huge project is going on, but the app shows no projects in my area. So far this is as useful as a chocolate teapot

Goedemorgen Nikki, Bedankt voor uw review. We hebben gecontroleerd en zien inderdaad geen projecten in Almere Hout. Helaas maakt niet ieder project of iedere organisatie gebruik van ons platform. We hopen dat daar in de toekomst verandering in komt, zodat ook projecten in uw omgeving via De BouwApp te volgen zijn. Met vriendelijke groeten, Paul

I installed the app a few years ago and was very pleased with it. Late last year there was an update and it stopped working I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times but it still does not work. I start up the app and either get a blank screen or at best just the hard hat screen, so currently it is terrible
