Bugs that go unfixed for years. Server error where your Internet connection is blamed when there is no problem with the internet at all. Claims that you'll see 2 ads, but you'll see like 6 ads instead, often the same pair of ads repeated twice or three times. Are they scamming their advertisers I wonder.

I use this app to keep myself up-to-date with Dutch news, while living overseas. It's easy to navigate, shows which news items I have read, I can select many categories of interest, and news gets updated often. News items can be shared and saved. I miss the daily photo items with a brief explanation, though. With the latest update, the focus is on videos, which can be slow to upload. But still, why ditch the arty photos?

I used to love this app, but I'm less than impressed about the NOS' implementation of video news items (once they're out of the most recent news feed they show up under a general 'video' header without any reference to the original article or, occasionally, without any context at all) and more recently and more regrettably, the addition of advertising. Update: just tried to play a video, got 3 (!!!) different ads lasting about 2 minutes, and then the actual video would not play. Terrible!

Met de NOS app hebben we het kijken naar livestreams nog eenvoudiger gemaakt. Naast zo'n 500 livestreams per jaar van nieuws, sport en nationale evenementen vind je uitgebreide programma-informatie van livestreams die er aan komen en kun je tijdens een live-uitzending via momenten eenvoudig belangrijke momenten terugkijken. Bovendien kunnen de laatste uitzendingen van het NOS Journaal, het NOS Jeugdjournaal, Nieuwsuur en het NOS Sportjournaal teruggekeken worden.
