Adaptive-SSt is an app developed for children and adults with severe speech and language difficulties – where standard speech-to-text solutions do not work.
The goal is to provide users with a personal and customized tool that makes it easier to be understood in school, home and society.

Unlike standard speech recognition, which assumes normal pronunciation, Adaptive-SSt learns the individual user's own voice. The app allows the user to record sentences, while guardians or speech therapists can cut, tag and insert the correct text. These audio clips form a personal speech database that is used to train an artificial intelligence that gradually gets better at understanding the specific voice in question
